Oh Happy Day explores the feeling of happiness in a humorous and absurd approach. In a domestic setting, a woman methodically beats together the yolks of three eggs. She applies the mixture to her face in a cosmetic manner, while fixing a permanent smile. The piece concludes with a disturbing change of emotion accompanied by a twisted version of, "Oh Happy Day", performed by Etta James.
